Brooke Carter
Born and raised in the New Orleans area, Brooke was raised around the music, dance and culture that make-up New Orleans. As a child, she took 10 years of ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes and considers this her art form. Brooke takes every chance she can get to go to a festival, concert, or event where she can still practice her art form!
Brooke Carter has been part of the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts since 2021, bringing a warm and upbeat presence to her role as Accounting Administrator. She graduated from Delgado in 2014 with an Associates' Degree in Accounting. With a hand in a little bit of everything, she supports the financial and administrative operations that help keep the Academy running smoothly. Her favorite part of the job is getting to talk with so many students, instructors, and anyone that walks into the gallery.
Known for her friendly demeanor and energetic positivity, Brooke is always ready to pitch in wherever needed. She enjoys learning about the fine arts and being exposed to a world she was not previously familiar with.
Outside of work, she enjoys life on the water with her husband, Charles and their two children, Cora and "Baby" Charles.

Born in Texas and raised in South Africa, Tamara is a three-time All-American in the 4x400m relay.
Melody Arsenous
Receptionist
As NOAFA’s first receptionist, Melody is excited to welcome and assist students, families, and visitors each day with a friendly face and a helping hand. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the beach, exploring different parts of the city with her husband, and spending time with her cat Milo; who happily runs the household.
