Submissions for Student Exhibition Open April 22nd
Drop-off for the Student Exhibition will take place April 22–29, from 9 AM to 4 PM at The Academy. Please bring your labeled artwork during these hours. See attached for more information & printable labels!
All adult students who took a class during the last academic year (Summer 2025, Fall 2025, or Spring 2026) are encouraged to participate. Each student may submit up to three pieces, and you’re welcome to consult your instructors for guidance on what to include.
All submissions will be juried by faculty during a private review. While the goal is to include as many students as possible, space and curatorial considerations mean not every piece may be exhibited. If you submit multiple works, anywhere from one to all three may be selected—but every participating student will be represented in the galleries.
The opening reception will be held on Saturday, May 9th from 5–7 PM, marking one of the Academy’s most important exhibitions of the year.
Students whose work is not selected will be contacted by email prior to opening night to arrange pickup. For exhibited work, sold pieces will be released to purchasers June 1–3, and early pickup for purchases is also available during that time. Unsold work may be picked up starting July 31.
Please note that all submitted artwork must be for sale, and the Academy Gallery retains a 15% commission on all sales.
Students who would like to be featured in marketing materials are encouraged to email high-resolution images of their work to thereserowe@noafa.org, along with their full name, artwork title(s), and dimensions.
