Open Studio Figure Study: Long Pose - Jonathan Hodge

This is an uninstructed figure studio with a nude model featuring a single three-hour pose where participants can explore life drawing or life painting skills.

These uninstructed life drawing open studios offer opportunities for students of all skill levels to practice drawing and painting the human figure in a welcoming and respectful atmosphere.

The model will maintain the same pose for the full three hours.

Sessions take place in the Academy’s beautiful third-floor atelier, offering:

• North light during daylight hours
• Ample artificial lighting at night

The Academy provides:

• Easels
• Boards
• Drawing benches
• Chairs

Participants should bring their own preferred art supplies.

Additional Information

• Male and female models will be nude
• Students must be at least 18 years of age
• Experienced monitors ensure the studios are run at a high standard
