During this class, which is open to beginners and more advanced students alike, you will be able to craft your own curriculum.
If you are a beginner in oil painting, you will be given more structured guidance through an exploration of color, medium, and application using the traditional grisaille method.
Intermediate and advanced students will be able to explore a variety of content areas, including narrative still life, portraiture, master copies, and more.
Come escape the stresses of life and explore the fun of oil painting!
This class takes place both in our interior second-floor painting studio with ample artificial lighting and in the porch studio with north-facing large picture windows.
Each student will be assigned a space for the entire semester.
