Oil Painting Exploration: Beginning & Intermediate - Andrew Rodgers

During this class, which is open to beginners and more advanced students alike, students will be able to craft their own curriculum.

Beginning students in oil painting will receive more structured guidance through an exploration of:

• Color
• Medium
• Application in the traditional Grisaille method

Intermediate and advanced students will be able to explore a variety of content areas, including:

• Narrative still life
• Portraiture
• Master copies
• Additional painting subjects

Come escape the stresses of life and explore the fun of oil painting.

This class takes place in:

• The interior second-floor painting studio with ample artificial lighting
• The porch studio with large north-facing picture windows

Each student will be assigned a dedicated space for the entire semester.
