Monoprinting: Facilitated Open Studio - Frances Swigart

This is a hybrid class that contains both structured teaching and open studio elements.  This class is open to all skill levels.

Select your day to access the printing studio and presses facilitated by Frances Swigart to Monoprint.

Monoprinting (reverse painting) is painting with oil based ink on a plexiglass plate. The printing press transfers the image onto paper. It's unique advantage is the ability to produce a series of paintings.

Inks and plates will be provided. Please bring brushes that can be used with oil based inks. Printing papers will be available for purchase.

Each class must have a minimum enrollment of 8 students.

Please register online at least 24 hours before class to reserve your place.

Students will be contacted in advance if the minimum enrollment is not met.

Supplies:

Paint brushes for oil based ink, if you prefer acrylic you may bring acrylic brushes and acrylic paints
