Creative Drawing: Observation to Imagination - Piki Mendizabal

This course explores drawing as a tool for visual exploration and creative thinking. Students will work from still life arrangements, portraits, and live models, using observation as the foundation for imaginative interpretation.
Rather than focusing solely on representation, the class encourages students to experiment with line, gesture, proportion, and expressive distortion. Drawing will be approached as a dynamic process that allows artists to reinterpret reality and develop their own visual language.
The goal of the course is to help students understand drawing not only as a technical skill but also as a form of creative investigation.
