Creative Drawing - Piki Mendizabal


Designed for students with basic drawing experience, this course encourages the development of a personal visual language through graphite, charcoal, ink, and mixed media. Observation serves as the point of departure while students explore imagination, memory, symbolism, and experimentation to create original and expressive drawings.
Materials for Drawing Classes (Beginning Drawing & Creative Drawing) * Drawing pad (18” x 24” recommended) * Sketchbook * Graphite pencils (2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B) * Vine charcoal and compressed charcoal * White vinyl eraser * Kneaded eraser * Pencil sharpener * Blending stumps or tortillons * Ruler * Masking tape * Portfolio for storing drawings
