Beginning Photography Part 2…
Prerequisite is Beginning Photography Part 1.
Part 2 consists of three class sessions and a field trip.. The first class will be a review of what was covered in part one and to assess students progress. In part 2 there will be some emphasis on post processing images using Adobe Lightroom Classic and an introduction to Photoshop. We will learn to enhance color in Lightroom Classic and also to make an artistic conversion to B+W and sepia toned images.
Part 2 also will include a field trip to Metairie Cemetery and a review of the images taken in the following class. Field trip is TBA and will be scheduled so the most students can attend. A make up field trip is available for those who miss the main trip.
We will also cover using fill flash and Photography indoor and in darker situations. Addition discussion and emonstration of various lenses . Long telephoto, Fisheye, Petzval bokeh .
Richard Vallon Jr. was born and raised in New Orleans. A graduate of ASU with a BFA (photography), he has enjoyed teaching photography since 1981. He has taught the UNO Metro College photo classes and classes at Lakeside Camera since 2004.
