Beginning Drawing - Jonathan Hodge

Description
In this course, we’ll cover many foundational principles and techniques to gain a firm grounding in the art of drawing.
Students will study master works and complete a series of exercises aimed at understanding gesture, structure, basic forms, and simplification.
We will learn comparative measurement, plumb lines, block-ins, terminator lines, and may even get into form turning (a.k.a. rendering) — the juicy fun stuff.
There will be class discussions, demonstrations, and personalized critiques.
