Alla Prima Painting - Rebecca Madura

This oil painting course will teach you to finish a painting in one session, applying paint wet-into-wet with decisive brushstrokes for immediate, spontaneous results.
We will focus on directness, value, color, and form, while learning to use a limited palette, creating clean colors, controlling the paint, and developing color harmonies.
We will also learn how light creates form, using value patterns to build structure.
This class is perfect for someone with oil painting or drawing experience interested in improving speed and confidence, while finding personal style and nurturing the aesthetic eye.
