Week 7 - Youth Summer Fine Arts Camp
New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts’ Summer Fine Arts Camp returns in 2026 with more fun than ever before!
Register your aspiring artist for a week (or more) of this engaging and immersive camp and help them foster their creativity through the exploration of painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, and more.
Campers will also take part in artists’ workshops, talks, and collaborative installations in our professional gallery space.
Another additional bonus? If you register your child for 4 weeks of camp or more, you will receive a 10% cost deduction. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout.

Important Info
- Ages: 4–12 (all children must be potty-trained)
- Camp Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Friday Gallery Exhibition & Snowballs: 3:00 PM–4:00 PM each week
- Price: $585 per week
- Supplies: All supplies included
- Food: Snacks and drinks provided; please bring lunch and a water bottle
Peter Frauenfelder
Peter Frauenfelder is a visual artist, sign painter, musician and native San Franciscan who has lived in New Orleans since early 2020. Since a teenager, Peter has worked in the arts and education with a focus on fine art, mentorship, and community development.
