A Night at the Academy 2026

Honoring Artist Jose-Maria Cundin

The New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts is thrilled to announce our second annual Artful Giving: A Night at the Academy on Thursday, October 1, 2026. This year’s event will honor noted artist and long-term Academy supporter, Jose-Maria Cundin.

The gala will showcase an exciting exhibition that will feature past works, as well as a new series of photographs that are inspired by the world-famous Italian artist Giorgio Morandi.

The evening will commence with a Patron Party in the Academy Gallery from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, featuring light refreshments, with sponsors and patrons enjoying exclusive early access to pieces that are available for purchase. At 7:00 PM, we will bring the party outside when live music takes center stage.
