Instructor: Reid Nicholls
Description: This course is for students who have some ceramics experience and want to explore a specific project and deepen their understanding of ceramics while expressing their own voice through clay. This class has an independent study structure with guidance, personalized demonstrations, and feedback provided along the way. This is a creative and supportive environment, with lots of one-on-one attention from the instructor.
Prerequisites: Must have taken any ceramics class at NOAFA.
Supplies: There is a $75 fee for materials, i.e., 1 bag of clay, tools, and glazes.

Reid Nicholls is a ceramic artist and sculptor whose body of work uses symbolic imagery paired with figurative elements to create abstract forms that are hand-built and wheel thrown.
